Join us for "FALL INTO THE YIN OF WINTER”, a community nourishment experience to support inner balance & harmony with the fall and winter seasons. As we find ourselves in the height of the fall season, we're experiencing colder, drier air, shorter days and more darkness. Nature is shedding and slowing down around us.
Ancient medicinal traditions like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), teach us that we're a part of the nature that surrounds us. That as we shift from season to season, the elements shift - and so do we. And so, our well-being is best served when our self-care, routines, and nutritional choices ebb and flow with the seasons.
During this immersion, we'll be exploring the themes and energetic opportunities that are available during this time of year from an Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine perspective. You’ll have the opportunity to shift from outward expression to inward reflection, nourish the nervous system before the potential stressors of the holiday seasons, and receive practical tools and tips for thriving as we move toward the end of the fall season and step into the winter season.
This 2 hour experience includes:
-Practical self-care, lifestyle, and nourishment suggestions rooted in Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine
-Movement blend of Qi Gong, Slow Flow and Yin Yoga
-Reflection and journaling to clarify seasonal intentions
-Gentle breathwork, guided rest and Yoga Nidra
-Opportunity to receive ear seeds and/or mini-acupuncture treatment as you rest (optional)
-Use of essentials oils and/or topical flower essences (optional)
-Herbal teas and snacks to nourish the body during the break and after the session
