  • Contrast therapy is the practice of alternating between heat and cold exposure. At Kelta, this includes time in our infrared sauna followed by a cold plunge. The combination is designed to support circulation, recovery, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.

  • Many people use contrast therapy to help reduce stress, soothe sore muscles, improve circulation, increase energy, support recovery, and create a greater sense of mental clarity and calm.

  • Our infrared sauna typically operates around 140°F. Infrared heat warms the core body temperature, creating a deep, comfortable sweat experience.

  • Our cold plunge is kept at a refreshing 48° designed to awaken the body and invigorate the nervous system.

  • You may wear a swimsuit, lightweight workout clothing, or nothing at all. Our SWEAT + PLUNGE room is completely private.

  • Contrast therapy is generally safe for healthy individuals, but we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider if you have cardiovascular conditions, blood pressure concerns, are pregnant, have heat sensitivity, or have other medical concerns.

  • Many guests enjoy SWEAT + PLUNGE 1–3 times per week depending on their wellness goals, activity level, and recovery needs.
